After retiring from being the manager of the World Champions St. Louis Cardinals, Tony La Russa made an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" last Monday.
During the interview, Dave asked him if he had received any job offers after his retirement and this is Tony's response:
“I actually got a job offer [Monday]. I swear. There’s a group called Performing Animal Welfare Society just outside of Sacramento,” La Russa said, “and they offered me a job as an elephant keeper.”Honestly, I could see Tony La Russa tame some elephants.
