1960's Patriots Fan Interferes With Play, Refs Let It Stand(Video)

Back in the 1960's, the American Football League was trying to compete with the NFL and during a game, an AFL fan decide to help out the Boston Patriots win a game.

It happened during a regular season tilt between the Patriots and the Dallas Texans on the final play of the game as a fan ran onto the field to help deflect a pass from Texans quarterback Cotton Davidson.

In today's game, it would have counted as fan interference but back then, the referees let the play stand:
