Lakers star Kobe Bryant, "If I was an NBA owner, I'd fire people who missed on Jeremy Lin"

One of the lasting stories of the Jeremy Lin saga is that he was cut from two NBA teams and appeared to be out of the league until the New York Knicks took a chance on him.

Lakers star Kobe Bryant had some interesting comments during NBA All-Star Practice on Saturday where he stated that if he was an NBA owner, he would start giving out pink slips to people who missed on Jeremy Lin:
“The biggest thing to me is how everybody missed it,’’ Bryant said yesterday before the All-Star Game’s practice session. “They all would be fired if I was owning a team. I hear this stuff, ‘It came out of nowhere.’ I think it’s a load of [garbage]. You can’t play that well and just come out of nowhere. There has to be something there and everybody missed it. So heads would roll [if I was owner].’’
I'll agree with Kobe on the fact of those "It came out of nowhere" talk being garbage. There were plenty of people who knew about Jeremy Lin before his rise, it just didn't happen to be anyone being an NBA scout or general manager.
