If you're a soccer player, you know your having a bad day when a referee decides to give you a red card during match.
However, this bizarre moment from a Belgian amateur soccer match proves that you can ever get a red card when your unconscious. The incident occurred in a match between Templeuve and Quevy as midfielder Julien Lecomte is knocked out of the game attempting a header.
As Lecomte lies unconscious on the stretcher brought out for him, the referee decides that Lecomte is faking his injury and issues him his second yellow card of the day for "diving". That second yellow turns into a red card seconds later and Lecomte becomes the first player ever to be ejected from a soccer match while lying on a stretcher:
By the way, Lecomte wasn't faking as he broke three vertebrae in his neck from the hit and makes this the most unjust red card in soccer history.
