Derek Jets fractures ankle in extra innings of game one of the 2012 ALCS (Video)

Last night, there wasn't much joy for New York Yankees fans as the Bronx Bombers dropped game one of the American League Championship series to the Detroit Tigers in extra innings.

Things went from bad to worst when the news that Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter would miss the rest of the ALCS with a fractured ankle.

Derek injured his right ankle in the top of the twelve inning after attempting to throw out Detroit shortstop Jhonny Peralta at first base.
