Division II basketball player breaks backboard, game gets suspended (Video)

It's not often that a basketball game can't be completed but back on Friday night, a division two men's basketball game between The Colorado School of Mines and Metro State needed to be suspended because of a broken backboard.

The shattering came in the first quarter of play as Colorado School of Mines center Trevor Wages followed a missed shot with a put-back dunk that broke glass:

Since there wasn't a replacement backboard on hand, the game had to be delayed till later tonight with Metro State up 21-16.
