As the all-Canada NHL playoff battle started between the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators today with game one, Canadiens Lars Eller had to leave the game with a broken nose/concussion.
Eller suffered the injuries in the second period after getting hit by Ottawa's Eric Gryba (who was given a five minute major penalty for his hit) which sent Lars face first into the ice.
If you happen to be squeamish, just don't view the 21-25 second mark of the clip:
Eller went to local Montreal hospital and his status for the rest of the series is unknown.
