South Carolina high school soccer goalie loses state championship on unlucky penalty kick (Video)

There are many heart-breaking ways to lose a sporting event and this moment from the South Carolina's 4A high school state soccer championship will break your a heart a little bit.

The match was between Irmo High School and Lexington High School and after two overtimes, the championship has yet to be decided. The match would end in penalty kicks and it came down to Irmo's Mattison Gossett to send Irmo home with the title or sudden death penalties.

This is where the heartbreak comes in as Lexington goalie Jacob Parton makes the save but due to some backspin, the ball ends up in the back of the net for an Irmo state title:
